Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive business development experience, preferably in A/E/C, environmental consulting, or infrastructure.
• Proven track record of building client relationships and securing contracts with public/private sector clients.
• Strong understanding of the sales cycle for professional services, including pre-positioning, capture planning, and proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic business development efforts across key markets for environmental engineering, geotechnical services, and infrastructure consulting.
• Build relationships with executives and stakeholders within national retail and chain organizations.
• Identify opportunities to expand services, geographic reach, and market share across accounts.
• Partner with operational and technical leaders to deliver a coordinated experience for national clients.
• Represent UES at meetings, industry events, and conferences to strengthen relationships and uncover opportunities.
• Monitor market trends to shape growth strategies and support informed decisions.
• Develop account growth strategies that drive revenue and strengthen UES’s national partner position.
