Job summary

Route 92 Medical is seeking a Director of Business Development to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage strategic transactions that advance the company’s portfolio and growth objectives. You will lead licensing, co-development, co-marketing, and distribution deals, partnering with R&D, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to drive value.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in medical-device business development or related field.
• Proven track record leading complex transactions from sourcing to governance.
• Experience negotiating licensing, co-development, or distribution agreements.

Responsibilities

• Set BD priorities aligned with corporate strategy.
• Identify new technologies, assets, and partnerships to expand portfolio.
• Lead market, clinical, technical, and financial assessments of opportunities.
• Own end-to-end transaction process from outreach to close.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including R&D, Regulatory, and Legal.
• Prepare recommendations for executive leadership explaining terms and risks.
• Build relationships with partners, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
• Establish governance and integration plans post-signing.
