Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in Miami seeks a Director for Merger Integrations and Carve-Outs to lead large-scale integration engagements for PE clients and their portfolio companies.

You will guide cross-functional teams across finance, HR, supply chain, and IT, driving Day 1 readiness, synergy realization, and complex carve-outs while mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development initiatives.

Travel up to 75% may be required as projects span national and international engagements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional consulting experience focusing on merger integration, divestitures, business transformation and change management.
• Experience leading one or more work streams in a business transformation and complex engagements.
• MBA preferred with strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide service excellence by identifying client issues and developing recommendations for engagements.
• Lead IMO/MI&C work streams such as synergies, TSAs, Day 1 planning and post-close execution.
• Deliver large, complex engagements for PE clients and portfolio companies.
• Lead Day 1 and Day 100 planning, and drive performance improvement in key areas.
• Mentor staff and participate in business development activities.
