Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Innovation & Deployment to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This role will lead the identification, evaluation, and deployment of technology opportunities that improve operational outcomes across the organization. The Director will partner with stakeholders and technical teams to move high-value ideas from concept through prototyping and into operational use. This position is focused on building a repeatable process for innovation delivery, with an emphasis on feasibility, scalability, and execution discipline.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $154,050 – $278,475 annually

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to identify technology opportunities that improve outcomes.
• Evaluate existing capabilities alongside emerging technologies for potential integration.
• Prioritize technology opportunities based on value, feasibility, and scalability.
• Lead rapid prototyping and testing to validate technology solutions.
• Oversee the transition of successful prototypes into operational use, addressing all necessary requirements.
• Establish a repeatable process for moving from problem identification to deployed solutions.
• Manage resources and partnerships to support organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field, with 12+ years of relevant experience; equivalent education and experience considered.
• Proven experience leading and developing technical organizations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Track record of successfully deploying technology capabilities from concept to operational use.
• Ability to identify high-value problems and evaluate alternative technology approaches.
• Strong communication skills to convey technology choices and risks to senior leaders.
