Ladders is seeking a Senior IT Director II to lead technology operations in a healthcare-focused environment. This remote role supports application hosting, platform services, and service management across a complex enterprise, partnering with technical leaders, vendors, and executives to raise reliability, scalability, and operational maturity.

You will drive modern delivery practices, strengthen incident response, and help advance GenAI capabilities in collaboration with the CTO Office.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT leadership experience in application platforms or ITSM within a complex organization.
• Experience managing director-level or senior-manager-level technical leaders
• Hands-on expertise in application hosting, PaaS, DevOps, and observability
• Strong ITSM/ITIL foundation with ServiceNow experience preferred; ITIL 4 certification is a plus
• Proven experience in Major Incident Management and structured post-incident reviews
• Familiarity with IT asset management and compliance coordination with security partners
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Own the application hosting and platform estate, ensuring security and scalability
• Manage support for SaaS and third-party applications, coordinating vendor services
• Oversee enterprise integration and batch services, connecting applications and data
• Lead the DevOps and CI/CD toolchain, enabling self-service for delivery teams
• Manage the enterprise GenAI platform in partnership with the Office of the CTO
• Own the observability platform for monitoring and performance decisions
• Lead the Major Incident Management function and core service-management processes

For our client, we are seeking a Sr IT Director II to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This leader will shape the strategy and execution of core technology operations that support application hosting, platform services, and service management across a complex healthcare environment. The role will partner closely with technical leaders, vendor teams, and executive stakeholders to improve reliability, scalability, and operational maturity. You will also help advance modern delivery practices, strengthen incident response, and support emerging AI capabilities that enable the broader technology organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $180,000 – $292,500 annually
