The role focuses on improving reliability, security, and usability while reducing obsolescence and technical debt. You will partner across the organization to align technology priorities to business impact and support employees and leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience leading and developing technical organizations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience improving operational technology capabilities for technical or engineering workforces.
• Ability to translate employee and business needs into technology priorities and communicate effectively with senior leaders.
• Demonstrated skill in simplifying complex technology environments and managing significant resources and investments.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Technology Operations & Sustainment to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This leader will oversee the operation, sustainment, and lifecycle management of technology supporting a business area within a complex technical environment. The role is focused on improving reliability, security, and usability while reducing obsolescence and technical debt. You will partner across the organization to identify barriers to effective work, align technology priorities to business impact, and strengthen how technology supports employees and leaders.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $154,050 – $278,475 annually
