Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Engineering Leader in HR Technology to define platform strategy, design multi-cloud infrastructure, and drive DevOps excellence across a large software program. You will mentor cross-functional teams of engineers and SREs, optimize cloud spend, implement IaC and GitOps, and guide AI/ML integration to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading large software engineering programs.
• 8+ years leading teams in a matrix organization.
• 4+ years partnering with architecture, product and PMO teams to influence product development.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the Platform strategy and delivery with Architecture, Technical Product owners and AppDev teams.
• Build and scale internal platforms (IPs), golden paths, and self-service tools to lower developer cognitive load and developer experience.
• Scale CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps workflows, and DevSecOps practices to embed security and observability.
• Partner with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to design scalable, cost-effective technical solutions and enterprise integrations.
• Mentor and lead cross-functional teams of Engineers, DevOps, SRE, manage cloud spend budgets, vendor negotiations, and resource forecasting.
• Track engineering productivity and reliability metrics (e.g., DORA metrics, deployment frequency, change failure rate, MTTR) and manage cloud costs and compliance.
• Evaluate, build and integrate AI/ML tools and cloud-native services into the Platform and software delivery lifecycle.
