Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Director in its Healthcare Industry Group to lead client engagements, drive M&A diligence, integrations and separations, and manage end-to-end delivery of complex assignments. You will oversee data gathering, hypothesis development, and stakeholder communications with senior clients and deal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years in healthcare consulting or healthcare operations
• Experience with M&A transactions and/or healthcare operations
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments with strict timelines
• Strong communication and leadership across client and internal teams
• Willingness to travel as required

Responsibilities

• Lead clients and internal teams through the full M&A lifecycle including due diligence, integration planning and execution
• Develop hypotheses around value levers in M&A transactions
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and rapidly analyze financial and operational data
• Define operating models, support Day 1 planning and transaction execution
• Mentor junior staff and manage client engagements, deliverables and budgets
• Engage with C-suite and board members to discuss challenges and strategic initiatives
