Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati seeks a Director of Graduate Medical Education to lead residency and fellowship programs. You will partner with the DIO/LPD, GMEC, and clinical departments to drive strategic growth, quality, and compliance across multiple sites.

You will manage the GME budget, reporting, and workforce planning while ensuring regulatory and accreditation standards are met and sustained. Excellent communication and leadership across teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required for a leadership role in GME administration.
• Five years of progressive GME and related healthcare leadership experience is expected.
• Experience overseeing accredited GME programs and regulatory requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and govern Graduate Medical Education across the organization and ensure quality and accreditation readiness.
• Collaborate with DIO/LPD, GMEC, clinical departments, and academic partners to advance GME portfolio.
• Direct financial management, budgets, staffing, and long‑range planning for GME programs.
• Ensure compliance with ACGME, institutional, and specialty requirements and maintain accreditation readiness.
• Represent GME on committees and external partnerships to foster education excellence.
