Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Medical City Plano seeks a Director of Graduate Medical Education to oversee accreditation and administrative operations for hospital-based GME programs. You will guide readiness for ACGME reviews, monitor resident oversight, and lead program development across multiple specialties.

The role collaborates with GME corporate leaders and facility executives to manage budgets, agreements, and staffing, while driving compliance with accreditation standards and ensuring high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; 3 years' experience in graduate medical education or healthcare medical education setting
• Master's degree preferred; 3 years' GME experience may substitute for degree
• Management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee readiness, accreditation, and program development across GME.
• Coordinate annual ACGME institutional and programaccreditation processes.
• Maintain oversight of resident work hours, supervision, and evaluation per ACGME requirements.
• Develop and monitor budgets for GME programs with division leaders and facility CFO.
• Supervise program administrative staff; coordinate HR and onboarding for residents/fellows.
• Assist hospitals with new program creation and affiliation agreements.
