Job summary

Legado Talent is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead enterprise financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis on a hybrid schedule (1 day in-office). You will partner with executive leadership to translate financial data into actionable insights, build robust models, and drive automation across finance processes.

The role requires strong business judgment, cross-functional collaboration, and experience with multi-entity financial management.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of leadership experience in corporate or managerial finance in a complex org.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across multiple departments or entities.
• Advanced financial modeling skills including evaluating ventures, or strategic initiatives.
• Experience developing operating models, valuation analyses, and capitalization/ownership-dilution scenarios.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and consolidation across related entities.
• Working proficiency with AI tools to improve financial processes.
• Ability to interpret complex financial information and present clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process, forecasts, and long-range financial planning.
• Establish planning calendars, financial assumptions, and methodologies to improve accountability.
• Develop integrated financial models connecting activity, staffing, revenue, expenses, capex, and cash needs.
• Analyze performance against budgets and forecasts to identify drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare executive reporting with explanations of results and recommended actions.
• Evaluate resource allocation to balance priorities and financial capacity.
• Partner with accounting to ensure alignment with results and standards.
• Evaluate growth opportunities and build business cases for new initiatives.
• Perform scenario analyses to assess feasibility, cash needs, and investment risk.
• Develop operating models and capitalization scenarios for new ventures.
