Job summary

LS Direct, based in Suffern, NY, is seeking a highly analytical Director, Financial Planning & Strategic Analysis to join our Finance team. You will partner with the CFO, executive leadership, and our Private Equity sponsor to deliver financial planning, executive reporting, and strategic analyses that drive informed business decisions.

The ideal candidate combines 5–8+ years of FP&A or related experience with strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel, and the ability to transform financial data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• 5–8+ years of FP&A or related field
• Experience supporting executive leadership and board reporting is preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and finance modeling

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO and Executive Leadership Team to support strategic financial planning and business decision-making.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for executive leadership, Board of Directors, and Private Equity sponsor.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, dashboards, and executive reporting to measure performance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Perform variance analyses, profitability analyses, and ad hoc financial modeling to support decisions.
• Develop quarterly Board presentations and supporting analyses.
