Job summary

Mod Op in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to launch and lead a new FP&A capability. This hands-on finance leadership role will own forecasting, planning, reporting, and decision support for a services-based agency with multiple lines and an active acquisition agenda.

You will build rolling forecasts, lead service-line reviews, and partner with operators to turn revenue, margin, staffing, pricing, and utilization data into actionable business decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of finance experience, including 3+ years leading FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and board reporting.
• Experience building or rebuilding FP&A in PE-backed or lender-reported company.
• Strong judgment and ability to explain assumptions, risks, and conditions to executives.

Responsibilities

• Build and own monthly rolling forecasts for net revenue and EBITDA by service line and top clients.
• Lead monthly financial reviews with service-line leaders, including margin, staffing, utilization and pricing.
• Prepare board materials and lender reporting sections.
• Own annual operating planning, reforecasting, and the first full-cycle budget after hire.
• Develop client profitability models, top-10 client concentration, and acquisition models.
• Apply AI/automation to improve speed and quality of FP&A analyses.
