Job summary

Dataminr is seeking a Director of FP&A in New York who will own the annual GTM plan, forecast growth, and build advanced financial models to guide resource allocation. You will partner with Sales and Marketing leadership, own end-to-end sales reporting, and deliver insights for executive leadership.

This role is NYC-hybrid with 2–3 days in the office weekly, offering a competitive base salary and bonus eligibility as part of the package.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking or consulting, ideally with time in a GTM organization.
• Fluency in SaaS financial concepts including financial statements, accruals, COGs, CAC, LTV, Magic Number.
• Hands-on experience with financial tools like Pigment, exceptional Excel skills, and AI fluency.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual planning and forecasting for GTM, testing ROI and translating strategy into executable resource plans.
• Build dynamic financial models for sales capacity, new markets, pricing moves, M&A, and investment trade-offs.
• Partner with GTM leadership in monthly budget reviews and identify opportunities for improvement and investment shifts.
• Own the sales reporting end-to-end, manage data with Rev Ops, and explain the numbers to executives.
• Collaborate with the executive team on board and investor materials and scenario planning.
• Join CFO in external meetings with bankers and other stakeholders; monitor competitive landscape.
• Partner across the business to support acquisition integration plans.
