Job summary

BOAB Ventures is seeking a Director of Sales Engineering, U.S. Federal, to lead and grow the U.S. Federal Sales Engineering team.

You will be the senior technical voice in national security pursuits, coaching a cadre of Sales Engineers while partnering with Sales Directors and BD leaders to convert prospects into customers across defense, intelligence, and federal law enforcement communities. You will report to the Worldwide VP of Sales Engineering and ensure pre-sales practices stay aligned

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or pre-sales professional in a SaaS company selling to government agencies.
• Experience managing large, successful tender bids.
• Strong understanding of geopolitical situations and the interests of relevant agencies.
• Previous experience with API integration and API-based solution delivery.
• Technical familiarity with space-based collection platforms for imagery, radio frequency, and other electronic intercepts.
• Willingness to travel up to 33% of the time.
• Experience with GenAI tools is mandatory.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the U.S. Federal Sales Engineering team.
• Lead the technical side of the sales process and serve as senior SME for government solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to win contracts and deliver demos, trials, and technical materials.
• Oversee demo readiness, data integrity, and RFP/RFI responses for federal engagements.
• Drive alignment with global pre-sales standards and product release cycles.
