Job summary

Vontier is seeking a senior transformation leader to own governance and execution quality across its portfolio of chartered value-stream transformations. The role acts as the enterprise owner of the transformation system, translating priorities into KPI-based charters and capacity plans while removing cross-functional barriers.

You will mentor VBSLs, establish weekly reviews, and drive finance-validated KPI transformation with measurable outcomes, ensuring sustainable benefits and capability

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in relevant business, operational, or functional field with strong background in lean transformation.
• Proven track record in enterprise transformation and business turnaround using lean methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership of complex, cross-functional transformations with measurable outcomes.
• Experience mentoring transformation leaders and influencing senior sponsors.
• Demonstrated financial judgment and ability to adapt methods across varied business conditions.
• Willingness to travel regularly (30-40%) across a global operating company portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Presidents, GMs, VBS Business Partners, and sponsors to define transformation charters.
• Require explicit outcomes, baselines, sponsors, business owners, authority envelopes, resources, risks, and exit criteria before launch.
• Recommend portfolio priorities and start/stop/continue decisions based on enterprise value and readiness.
• Assign VBSLs and other support against approved transformations.
• Establish weekly transformation reviews and transparent health reporting covering milestones, blockers, decisions, Finance validation, and capability transfer.
• Mentor VBSLs in systems thinking, Gemba-based learning, structured problem solving, stakeholder influence, and business judgment.
