Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Director of Enterprise Retail Sales to lead a senior team of Account Executives across fashion, beauty, apparel, and other lifestyle categories. You will coach AEs, shape deals, and build relationships with senior merchant executives to drive growth.

The role demands hands-on leadership in complex commercial opportunities, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong track record in enterprise sales within payments/fintech sectors. Remote-first with nationwide scope.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, or commercial leadership.
• Demonstrated experience directly managing and developing senior, quota-carrying Account Executives.
• Proven success leading teams through large, complex sales cycles with executive stakeholders and cross-functional coordination.
• Strong alignment with Affirm’s mission and the value delivered to merchants and consumers.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of senior Account Executives and drive accountability.
• Own team performance across pipeline health, forecast accuracy, deal progression, and revenue outcomes.
• Coach through complex, strategic opportunities and help AEs build business cases and negotiate.
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders at major retail merchants for high-priority opportunities.
• Shape and evolve Enterprise Retail GTM strategy with senior leadership including planning and territory management.
• Collaborate with Product, Client Success, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and RevOps to ensure shared milestones and resolve escalations.
• Utilize data, AI, and modern tools to improve planning, pipeline management, forecasting, and deal strategy.
