Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Director of Enterprise Retail Sales to lead a senior Account Executive team across major fashion, beauty, electronics, and lifestyle retailers. You will guide complex deals, build executive relationships, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive merchant growth.

You will mentor AEs, shape GTM strategy, and ensure strong pipeline, forecast accuracy, and revenue outcomes. This remote-first role requires travel for key merchant engagements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise sales leadership experience.
• Experience leading senior quota-carrying Account Executives.
• Proven success in large, complex enterprise sales cycles with executive stakeholders.
• Strong alignment with Affirm’s mission and value delivery to merchants/consumers.
• Experience selling to large retail merchants in payments/fintech or complex solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of senior Account Executives and drive performance against goals.
• Own team pipeline health, forecast accuracy, deal progression, and revenue outcomes.
• Coach through complex opportunities, build business cases, negotiate, and shape solutions.
• Build relationships with senior leaders at major retailers and engage in high-priority opportunities.
• Shape and evolve Enterprise Retail GTM strategy with senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Drive outcomes by partnering with Product, Client Success, Marketing, Finance, Legal, RevOps.
• Leverage data, AI, and modern tools to improve planning, forecasting, and deal strategy.
• Travel as needed for merchant meetings and events.
