Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead the Electrical Design Engineering team across 30+ North American facilities. You will own HV/MV/LV design, oversee capital projects, and mentor SMEs while collaborating with operations, sourcing, PMO and regional teams.

With 15–20 years in electrical engineering and at least five in leadership, you will drive technical standards, risk assessments, and feasibility studies for brownfield and greenfield developments, travel ~30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering/Science (Electrical Engineering) from an accredited institution.
• 15–20 years of electrical engineering experience, with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Experience with MV/HV systems, switchgear, transformers, and protective relaying.
• Proven ability to manage technical teams and multi-project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Design Engineering for capital projects across North America.
• Develop and maintain electrical design standards and library.
• Provide engineering support to operations and evaluate technology upgrades.
• Lead feasibility studies including total cost of ownership.
• Mentor SMEs and lead front-end loading activities.
