Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead the Electrical Design Engineering team and oversee electrical design for Energy-from-Waste facilities across North America. You will drive capital projects, mentor SMEs, and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to deliver safe, reliable electrical systems from HV to low voltage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 15–20 years of electrical engineering experience with leadership.
• Experience with MV/HV systems and protective relaying is required.

Responsibilities

• Discipline/Design Engineering: lead and prioritize work for the Electrical Engineering team.
• Capital Projects: drive electrical infrastructure design for capital initiatives.
• Technical Programs: lead programs of strategic importance to the company.
• Technical Standards: develop and maintain electrical specifications and standards.
