Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead the Electrical Design Engineering team responsible for energy-from-waste processes across North America. You will guide electrical infrastructure for HV, MV, and LV systems, including breakers, transformers, MCCs, and protection schemes, while aligning with capital programs and plant upgrades.

The role requires 15–20 years in electrical engineering with leadership experience, strong collaboration across sites, and travel about 30%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 15-20 years in electrical engineering with leadership experience.
• Experience with MV/HV systems and electrical design.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor a technical team.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical infrastructure design for HV/MV/LV systems across multiple facilities.
• Manage capital projects and technical programs within the department.
• Develop and maintain Reworld's electrical design standards and specifications.
• Provide engineering support to operations and evaluate technology upgrades.
• Coach SMEs and lead FEL activities for capital projects; mentor and train staff.
