Job summary

Counterpart Health is transforming healthcare with Counterpart Assistant to support PCPs and improve patient outcomes. We seek a Director of Engineering, Data Products to lead the data platform, focusing on ingestion, modeling, and scalable onboarding, aligned with clinical standards.

You will partner with the VP of Engineering and cross-functional teams to drive interoperability (FHIR, LOINC, RxNorm), data hygiene, and an enterprise reporting framework, while advancing AI-enabled development

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering leadership in data-heavy, regulated environments.
• Proven ability to scale data platforms and interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience implementing AI-assisted software development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the Data Products technical roadmap, canonical data modeling, and ingestion scalability.
• Manage and optimize the clinical data ingestion pipeline.
• Oversee scalable customer data onboarding and data hygiene improvements.
• Enable enterprise reporting framework and data observability.
• Drive AI-powered SDLC adoption while maintaining quality and security.
