Job summary
Counterpart Health is hiring a Director of Engineering for the Data Products pillar, leading the technical strategy for clinical data ingestion, modeling, and scalable pipelines. You will partner with VP of Engineering and cross-functional teams to enable AI-driven insights while ensuring data quality and security.
The role focuses on building reusable data capabilities, canonical storage standards, and a robust enterprise reporting framework to support rapid growth and value-based care
Qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience building high-scale data platforms and distributed systems.
- Experience managing and scaling engineering teams handling data-heavy workloads in regulated environments.
- Proven track record leading cross-functional teams delivering complex software in healthcare.
- Experience implementing and scaling AI-assisted development workflows to improve productivity.
Responsibilities
- Own the Data Products technical roadmap, canonical data modeling, and ingestion scalability.
- Manage and optimize the clinical data ingestion pipeline.
- Oversee scaling of customer data onboarding and data hygiene standards.
- Enable enterprise reporting framework and data observability across pipelines.
- Drive adoption of AI-powered SDLC while maintaining code quality and security.
