Job summary
Counterpart Health is seeking a Director of Engineering, Data Products, to own the technical roadmap for clinical data platforms and ingestion pipelines, aligning data standards like FHIR and CCDA with business outcomes.
You will lead seasoned engineers, scale data products for multi-customer contexts, and drive AI-assisted SDLC adoption while ensuring HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance in a fast-growing, remote-first environment.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience with data-heavy workloads and scalable data platforms.
- Experience leading engineering teams in regulated environments.
- Experience building interoperable data pipelines using standards like FHIR/CCDA.
- Proven ability to scale data onboarding and ensure data quality and observability.
- Experience implementing AI-assisted development workflows to improve productivity and quality.
Responsibilities
- Own the Data Products technical roadmap and canonical data modeling.
- Manage and optimize the clinical data ingestion pipeline.
- Scale customer data onboarding and improve data hygiene and observability.
- Enable enterprise reporting and shared funnel visibility across teams.
- Drive AI-assisted SDLC adoption while maintaining code quality and security.
