Job summary

QTS is seeking a Director, Development (Data Center Construction) to lead customer deployment projects across multiple data center locations. You will liaise between the QTS Sales Team, Operations, Property Development, and the Customer, ensuring designs, pricing, approvals and deployment scopes are executed to the highest standards.

The role reports to the Property Development department and requires strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with a track record in data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture.
• 10+ years progressive responsibility in development of Mission Critical Facilities.
• 5+ years of data center project construction experience with large-scale facilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer deployment project delivery for each sold deal at each QTS location.
• Coordinate with Property Development and supporting consultants to support design needs, pricing, approvals and deployment of scopes.
• Align client objectives with project management, vendor strategies and cross-group collaboration across QTS.
• Drive client relationship management and cost management to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Serve as single contact for Federal sales support on secured deals.
