Job summary

NYC Pride is seeking an Associate Director of Development to lead corporate partnership fundraising and strengthen donor engagement. You will partner with the Senior Director and Executive Director to build a sustainable fundraising plan and grow portfolios across corporate partners, foundations, events, and major donors.

In this role you will manage a small team, oversee donor relations, and work with the leadership to align fundraising with NYC Pride’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of general fundraising experience with at least six years managing direct reports.
• Deep expertise in corporate partnerships and engagement.
• Proven track record in full-cycle donor prospecting, cultivation and gifts of increasing value.
• Experience with event management and major donors.
• Bachelor’s degree; CFRE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term development strategy in partnership with executive leadership and Board officers.
• Provide multi-year financial modeling, scenario planning, and forward-looking analysis for decisions.
• Advise senior leadership on financial implications of new initiatives and sustainability.
• Design and implement a quantifiable corporate partnership fundraising strategy with diverse funding streams.
• Grow and manage NYC Pride’s portfolio of donor partnerships and in-kind contributions.
• Oversee donor CRM and fundraising operations; report to the Board and leadership.
• Engage the Board and stakeholders to drive fundraising growth and visibility.
• Cultivate relationships with corporations, major donors, foundations, and volunteers.
