Job summary

Summer Search NYC is seeking a Donor Relations Manager to join our development team and advance fundraising goals through relationship-based philanthropy, donor engagement, and rigorous execution. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, you will translate strategy into action while growing a portfolio of individual donors.

In this hybrid role based in Manhattan, you will manage a donor portfolio targeting about $500k annually, support annual giving and major gifts, assist with events,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in development/fundraising.
• Proven ability to cultivate and steward individual donors.
• Experience supporting fundraising campaigns or development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management: manage a portfolio of donors and prospects; grow engagement and philanthropic investment.
• Fundraising Strategies: support execution of strategies to reach annual revenue goals.
• Board Engagement: assist in activating boards as fundraising ambassadors.
• Development Operations: prepare reports, track revenue, and improve systems and processes.
• Cross-Collaboration: partner with Program, Finance, Marketing, and other teams.
