Job summary

Housing Works seeks a Director of Corporate Partnerships in New York to expand sponsor revenue and steward major donors. You will manage a portfolio of corporate partners, create engagement strategies, and collaborate with events, communications, and volunteer teams to maximize visibility and fundraising impact.

The role requires a BA/BS, 5+ years of donor relations, strong sales skills, strategic planning, excellent communications, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of donor relationship management experience, preferably with a corporate portfolio.
• Strong sales and development experience; demonstrated record of success and ability to “close” gifts.
• Strategic planning, setting goals, and managing performance; must possess and maintain up-to-date knowledge of CSR trends.
• Superior communications skill, including leading presentations to diverse audiences.
• Creative critical thinker with ability to work independently and within a team.
• Detail-oriented organizational and follow-through skills; strong written and oral communication.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel for job-related business.

Responsibilities

• Manage an existing portfolio of major corporate donors with focus on soliciting and closing renewals and identifying new corporate prospects.
• Develop and implement effective sales and engagement strategies that retain and increase corporate sponsorship revenue across Housing Works’ events and initiatives.
• Create detailed sponsor pipelines for each event, including timelines for solicitation.
• Identify new partners through comprehensive prospect research and capacity analysis.
• Integrate corporate volunteer engagement and manage engagement opportunities, including matching gifts and grants.
• Deepen and increase support from vendor relationships across Healthcare, Finance, and Real Estate sectors.
• Collaborate with program teams to identify new corporate visibility opportunities outside fundraising events.
• Collaborate with Housing Works’ social enterprises to develop visibility opportunities and cultivate vendor partners.
• Develop collateral communicating corporate engagement opportunities and ensure partner visibility in marketing and on-site activations.
• Collaborate with Data team to update Salesforce with partners, contacts, and revenue.
