Job summary

CHOICE of NY in White Plains, NY seeks a Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships to lead fundraising, grants, and strategic partnerships, strengthening diversified revenue streams and donor engagement.

You will work with the COO and staff to set fundraising goals, manage campaigns, report results, and build community partnerships with foundations, corporations, and government entities. A strong nonprofit fundraising track record and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management or related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years in nonprofit fundraising, resource development, or grant management.
• Proven track record of securing funding from foundations, corporations, government agencies, and individual donors.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Commitment to Choice's mission and values, with cultural competence and experience serving underserved populations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive resource development strategy to expand Choice's funding base.
• Identify, cultivate, and solicit individual, corporate, and foundation donors.
• Oversee annual giving campaigns and participate in donor events and reports.
• Develop and maintain donor relations and community partnerships.
• Collaborate with communications to produce fundraising materials and annual report.
• Coordinate agency client holiday donations and volunteer initiatives.
