Job summary

Funders for LGBTQ Issues is seeking a Development and Membership Associate to strengthen outreach and fundraising capacity from its New York City office. The role supports identifying, cultivating, and tracking prospective funders, coordinating trainings, and assisting with grant proposals and reports, with some remote flexibility.

You will report to the National Director of Philanthropic Outreach and collaborate with the Philanthropic Outreach and Engagement team to manage workflows and ensure

Responsibilities

• Track outreach and cultivation of prospective funders.
• Research prospective funders and draft background/strategy documents.
• Support fundraising, including grant proposals and reports.
• Manage membership appeals and trainings.
• Maintain Salesforce donor/prospect records and data integrity.
• Coordinate donor campaigns and engagement activities.
