Job summary

City Harvest is seeking a dynamic Officer, Business Partnerships to lead corporate fundraising efforts in New York. You will cultivate and manage major corporate donors, drive multi-faceted campaigns, and mentor a growing team to achieve ambitious revenue goals.

The role requires strong strategy, relationship-building, and leadership to secure long-term support and meaningful partnerships with national and local corporate partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, equivalent experience accepted.
• Minimum 5–7 years in corporate fundraising or business development with six- and seven-figure gifts.
• Experience leading fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and events.
• Proven ability to mentor staff and foster a collaborative team culture.
• Strong written and verbal communication for proposals and donor communications.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage a portfolio of corporate donors and prospects.
• Lead cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of strategic partnerships and sponsorships.
• Develop and execute donor-centric fundraising strategies to meet revenue goals.
• Mentor and supervise Business Partnerships team members.
• Collaborate with leadership to create compelling sponsorship proposals and campaigns.
• Oversee City Harvest’s annual holiday sponsorship initiatives.
