Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Secaucus, NJ is seeking a dynamic Director of Product Management to lead the Core Infectious Diseases portfolio (e.g., respiratory, TB, HAIs, Fungal, routine micro). Reporting to the VP/GM, this role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership and responsibility for P&L and portfolio direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, marketing and/or product management (required); Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
• 8+ years experience in Product Management with finance and judgment.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development, deployment, and post-marketing surveillance to achieve revenue growth, on-time launches, and profitability.
• Conduct market, competitive, and customer research; gather input from downstream partners.
• Lead innovation strategy: idea generation and high-value solutions.
• Define target product profile and initial business case.
• Support relationships with clinical KOLs and patient advocacy groups.
• Work cross-functionally with R&D, Medical, Operations, PM, IT, Finance and Commercial partners.
• Participate in launch activities: pricing, coding, training, and promotions.
• Manage lifecycle decisions and track performance against objectives.
• Own all product attributes and maintain a single source of truth.
• Hold P&L responsibility and develop the 3-year strategic plan.
