Responsibilities

• Support relationships with clinical KOLs and patient advocacy groups.

Quest's Infectious Disease and Immunology Franchise is seeking a dynamic, performance-driven Director, Product Management to lead the Core Infectious Diseases portfolio (e.g. respiratory, TB, HAIs, Fungal, routine micro).Reporting to the VP/GM of the Infectious Disease and Immunology Franchise, this is a pivotal role for a leader with a "get-it-done" attitude who thrives on seeing results and is motivated by the opportunity to explore and innovate.Quest is investing to address several complex, hard-to-diagnose conditions in Core Infectious Diseases, making it an exciting time to join our team and lead the execution of these high-growth innovations. In this role, you will own your P&L and be responsible for the success and direction of your portfolio.

The Director will lead a team of 2 Associate Product Managers.People development, cross functional collaboration and strategic execution in a complex, matrix environment are skills paramount to success in this role.The Director will also maintain relationships and opportunistically collaborate with external organizations and partners.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong executive presence and is a clear and concise communicator capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.

This is a hybrid role intended to be based in our Secaucus, NJ Corporate Offices.

Salary Range: $160,000 to $200,000/year + 20% Annual Incentive Plan
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities

• As the owner of Core Infectious Diseases, the Director is responsible for coordinating the development, deployment, and post-marketing surveillance to ensure an integrated plan is in place to achieve revenue growth targets, on-time launches, and profitability.

• Conduct market, competitive, and customer research to identify needs and emerging trends; gather input from downstream partners.

• Lead the successful execution of innovation strategy: idea generation, contribute to identifying innovative, high-value solutions.

• Define the target product profile and other solution requirements, including the initial business case and strategic rationale.

• Support the development of relationships with clinical Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and patient advocacy groups.

• Work within a cross-functional team to include R&D, Medical, Operations, Project Management, IT, Finance and Commercial partners; leverage assigned resources to develop and deploy the offering.

• Participate in the launch team to ensure pricing, coding, reporting, training, and promotional strategies are launch-ready.

• Manage life cycle decisions for new and existing offerings by tracking performance against objectives and customer satisfaction.

• Own all attributes related to the product and manage a single source of truth.

• Hold P&L responsibility for the portfolio.

• Develop, lead, and own the 3 year strategic plan for the portfolio.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, marketing, and/or product management (required); Advanced degree or MBA (preferred).
• 8+ years experience, with extensive experience in Product Management coupled with business acumen (including finance) and judgment; and a displayed understanding how value is delivered through the enterprise.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience.
• Strong business acumen, judgment, and the ability to think strategically.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop deep insights about customers and convert understanding of market and customer needs into superior/unique offerings.
• Extremely strong written and oral communication skills, with excellent influencing and collaboration capabilities across many functions and levels.
• Project Management skills especially balancing short- and long-term franchise building plans.
