Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc in New Jersey seeks a Product Director for the prenatal genetics segment to drive profitable growth and lead cross-functional teams across finance, R&D, HR, IT, operations, medical, marketing and sales. You will own lifecycle management, build business cases, and secure resources for initiatives.

You will partner with the GM of the Clinical Segment to develop the AOP, optimize pricing, and ensure launch readiness while prioritizing customer needs and market competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, marketing and/or product management required.
• Advanced degree in Genetics preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills.
• Storytelling skills.
• Business insight and strategic mindset.
• Dealing with ambiguity and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth strategy for the prenatal genetics segment as part of annual planning.
• Develop Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Rigorously assess and improve profitability by reducing denials and costs, and improving pricing.
• Own P&L responsibility for the segment.
• Lead launch teams for pricing, coding, reporting, training, and channel strategies.
• Understand continuum of care requirements and gaps.
• Incorporate voice of customer into product/solution development.
• Analyze competitive landscape to ensure winning solutions.
• Execute lifecycle management across the segment with cross-functional teams.
• Assess new products to prioritize with R&D, IT and Operations.
• Collaborate with R&D, BX/IT and Operations to bring new solutions to market.
• Generate customer insights to define segment requirements and priorities.
• Define and manage product/service metrics (billing, prior authorization, etc.).
• Support development of clinical KOLs and patient advocacy relationships.
