Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a biomedical scientist with extensive infectious disease diagnostics experience to engage with thought leaders, payers and healthcare providers on the safe use of diagnostic testing.

The role involves collaboration with Medical Directors, manuscript development, and literature reviews to support research and development initiatives. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MD or PhD) in a biomedical or clinical field.
• Deep knowledge of infectious disease diagnostics, immunology diagnostics, or related fields.
• Strong communication skills with a proven record of scientific publications.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams within a complex matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Thought Leaders, payers, and healthcare providers on safe use of diagnostic testing.
• Collaborate with Medical Directors to support medical tactics and priorities.
• Draft, edit, and revise high-quality scientific manuscripts for publication.
• Conduct literature reviews and provide context to internal stakeholders for future research.
