Job summary

Circana seeks a Director, Consumer & Shopper Client Insights to lead strategic insights for a premier ice cream client. The role spans analytics, storytelling and coaching across brand, marketing and category management to translate data into action.

You will drive adoption of Circana’s Receipt Panel, identify growth opportunities, and build client capabilities through training while guiding revenue growth and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 6–10+ years in client insights, client management, sales, or related roles in CPG/retail.
• Deep understanding of consumer and shopper behavior with data from Circana, NielsenIQ, Numerator or similar.
• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Unify, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; on-site flexibility with client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Drive client growth by expanding relationships and aligning Circana data with client goals.
• Deliver insight-led solutions translating data into actionable business outcomes.
• Manage end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, needs assessment, development, negotiation, closing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure client success.
• Maintain industry expertise in the CGP/retail space to position Circana as a thought leader.
• Build and maintain strategic client relationships with key stakeholders.
• Leverage Circana platforms (Unify+, Liquid Data, Intelligence Suite) in engagements.
• Achieve revenue targets through disciplined pipeline management and planning.
• Champion client success and deliver consistent value through analytics-driven insights.
• Apply advanced analytics to provide fact-based, actionable client recommendations.
