SharkNinja is seeking a Director of Connected Lifecycle Engineering in Needham, MA to set architecture for all connected firmware across product lines and own global delivery. You will lead a senior team, partner with ODM/JDM suppliers, and drive standards for wireless and display integration.

The role requires 12+ years in embedded software, 5+ years of leadership, and proven expertise in Bluetooth/BLE, Wi‑Fi, Matter, and OTA strategies.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in embedded software and firmware engineering.
• 5+ years leading engineering organizations, including managers and senior engineers.
• Experience architecting Bluetooth/BLE, Wi‑Fi, Zigbee, or Matter stacks and certification.
• Experience integrating embedded firmware with mobile apps and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Define connectivity stack standards, interfaces, and vendor components for global products.
• Own delivery of connected firmware including security, OTA updates, displays, and app integration.
• Lead connected firmware delivery organization and partner with ODM/JDM teams.
• Establish CI/CD, test automation, and gating criteria for connected features.
