Job summary

SharkNinja in Needham, Massachusetts, is seeking a Director of Product Development, Robots, to own the Shark Robots category strategy and multi-year roadmap. You will lead managers and developers, define product specs, and drive go-to-market, budgeting, and cross-functional alignment with executive leadership.

You will hire and mentor a high-performing team, balance consumer needs with competitive insights, and translate testing results into portfolio decisions while maintaining a strong P&L

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product development, robotics, human factors, or a related field.
• Experience owning a product category or portfolio — consumer goods or robots preferred.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing, management, or engineering; advanced degree a plus.
• Executive-caliber communication and strong strategic/project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the Shark Robots category strategy and multi-year roadmap, from white-space identification through mass production, and represent to executive leadership.
• Build and lead a team of managers and product developers, hire, coach, and set goals.
• Set strategic vision for product specs balancing consumer needs, competition, and flagship technology.
• Own go-to-market strategy, budget, and resourcing to maximize category growth.
