Job summary
SharkNinja is seeking a Director of Connected Lifecycle Engineering to own global connected firmware architecture, delivery, and certifications. You will guide cross-functional teams to align wireless connectivity, display, and app integration while partnering with ODM/JDM partners on differentiated experiences.
We expect 12+ years in embedded software, 5+ years in leadership, and hands-on experience with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Matter, and OTA updates.
Qualifications
- 12+ years in embedded software and firmware engineering.
- 5+ years leading engineering organizations with senior engineers/managers.
- Architected Bluetooth/BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, or Matter connectivity stacks and certification.
- Experience with ODM/JDM partners and hardware integration.
- Established CI/CD, static analysis, and automated test infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Define connectivity stack standards and integration interfaces for all product categories.
- Lead global firmware delivery, including OE and partner collaboration.
- Governance and gating of connected features with cross-functional teams.
- Drive certification strategy (Bluetooth SIG, Wi‑Fi Alliance, Matter).
- Build and mentor a senior technical team spanning architecture and delivery.
