Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a strategic Director, Commercial Lines to lead national operations, standardize workflows, and optimize client service across a large brokerage. You will partner with divisional and regional leadership to drive performance, scalability, and value creation while guiding operational transformation.

Ideal candidates have 5–7+ years in commercial lines operational leadership, an active P&C license, and CPCU or CIC designation.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives with divisional/regional leadership.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable workflow solutions.
• Standardize workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity and service quality.
• Analyze operations metrics and drive data-driven decisions.
• Support M&A integration planning and post-merger alignment.
• Promote adoption of EPIC, reporting tools, and tech platforms.
• Collaborate with producers and leadership to drive results.
