Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director of Commercial Lines to lead and optimize nationwide operations. You will partner with regional leaders to standardize workflows, drive efficiency, and elevate client service through strategic initiatives and Proactive operational governance.

The ideal candidate brings 5–7+ years in Commercial Lines leadership, active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designations, with strong change management and stakeholder interaction skills to thrive in a matrixed,

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows and servicing models.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable improvements.
• Workforce planning and capacity modeling experience.
• M&A integration experience and operational alignment.

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with regional leadership.
• Drive operational excellence and scalable processes.
• Standardize workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process optimization to improve productivity and client outcomes.

• Align managed services resources with goals.
• Provide national SME guidance on agency operations and EPIC usage.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessment and alignment.
• Collaborate with producers and leadership to drive strategic initiatives.
• Promote effective use of EPIC, reporting tools, and tech platforms.
• Measure performance using business intelligence to identify improvements.
• Lead change management to adopt new processes and practices.
