Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations. The role partners with senior leaders to standardize workflows, optimize processes, and scale operations across the brokerage.

A strong emphasis on strategic advisory, workforce planning, and client service excellence drives the role. The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership, active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designations.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership within a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations and workflow optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with divisional leadership.
• Drive workflow standardization and process improvements across the organization.
• Lead workforce planning and capacity modeling to support growth.
• Support merger and acquisition initiatives through operational assessments and integration planning.
• Collaborate with producers and operations to improve client service and outcomes.
• Promote effective use of EPIC, reporting tools, and tech platforms.
