Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national operations, standardize workflows, and drive efficiency across the organization. Remote work is preferred with occasional onsite as needed in a 50-mile radius of branch locations.

The role requires an active P&C license and 5–7+ years of leadership in commercial lines within a large brokerage. CPCU/CIC designation is strongly preferred, and EPIC experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership within a large brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategies with senior leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvement and productivity initiatives.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity to support growth.
• Coordinate with Managed Services to align resources and goals.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and systems.
