Job summary
Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national operations in a remote-capable role. You will drive strategy, standardize workflows, and partner with executives to optimize service delivery across our Commercial P&C portfolio.
The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years of operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency, an active P&C license, CPCU and/or CIC designation, and proven experience with EPIC and M&A integration. Exceptional communication is essential.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license required.
- CPCU and/or CIC designation preferred.
- 5–7+ years of commercial lines operational leadership in a large insurance brokerage/agency.
- Strong expertise in commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
- Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
- Familiarity with EPIC and agency systems.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with divisional/regional leadership.
- Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
- Establish standardized workflows, procedures, and best practices.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
- Evaluate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze staffing/workloads to develop capacity plans.
- Align resources with organizational goals and performance metrics.
- Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and systems.
