Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead nationwide Commercial P&C operations, drive workflow standardization, and support M&A integration. The role partners with Divisional and Regional leaders to optimize client service and profitability.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license, CPCU or CIC designation, and 5–7+ years of leadership in a large brokerage. Remote work is preferred with CST hours; occasional onsite may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage or agency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with leadership to strengthen operations and performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions for efficiency and quality.
• Establish standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce variation.
• Evaluate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity to support growth and excellence.
• Collaborate with Managed Services to align resources with goals.
• Serve as a national Commercial P&C subject matter expert and guide operations.
• Support M&A integration through assessments and alignment planning.
• Build partnerships with producers and teams to drive implementation and results.
• Promote optimization of EPIC, workflows, and reporting tools.
