Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to act as a national subject matter expert in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance and agency operations. The role partners with divisional leadership to advance corporate objectives, standardize workflows, and drive performance across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7+ years of operational leadership within a large insurance brokerage or agency, with strong experience in P&C agency operations and process

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategies with regional leadership to improve operations and performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to boost efficiency and quality.
• Promote standardized workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives focused on productivity and consistency.
• Analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Plan workforce capacity to support growth and operations.
• Coordinate with Managed Services for resource alignment.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and systems.
