Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to serve as a national subject matter expert in Commercial P&C and agency operations. The role partners with senior leadership to standardize workflows, improve efficiency, and support growth, M&A, and transformation initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have an active P&C license, CPCU/CIC designation (preferred), 5–7+ years leading Commercial Lines in a large brokerage, and strong stakeholder-management

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with regional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
• Evaluate issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Plan workforce capacity to support growth and excellence.
• Ensure alignment with Managed Services and operational goals.
• Provide national guidance on EPIC usage and tech platforms.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and planning.
• Collaborate with producers and leadership to drive adoption of new processes.
