Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to serve as a national subject matter expert in Commercial Property & Casualty and agency operations. You will partner with Divisional and Regional leadership to advance objectives, standardize workflows, and drive performance across the organization.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license, CPCU/CIC or equivalent, and 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership at a large brokerage or agency, with strong process improvement

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with senior leadership to improve operations and service delivery.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to boost efficiency and quality.
• Standardize workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process-improvement projects to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth and efficiency.
• Collaborate with producers, operations teams, and leadership to drive initiatives.
