Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to act as a national SME in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance and agency operations. You will partner with leadership to advance objectives and drive scalable operations.

The role focuses on standardizing workflows, improving processes, workforce planning, and supporting growth, with emphasis on M&A integration and senior stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License is required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large broker/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategies with regional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvements to boost productivity and client outcomes.
• Analyze issues to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Plan workforce capacity to support growth and service demands.
• Coordinate with Managed Services to optimize resource utilization.
• Provide EPIC-based guidance on agency operations and workflows.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and alignment.
• Collaborate with producers and leadership to drive initiatives.
