Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial Lines operations and drive standardized workflows with a focus on scalability and M&A integration. This remote role supports Central Time Zone working hours and may require onsite presence within a 50-mile radius of a branch as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license is required.
• CPCU/CIC designation (or equivalent) preferred.
• 5–7+ years of commercial lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.
• Experience with workflow standardization and process optimization.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions and operational integration.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives with leadership to improve operations and service.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvements to boost productivity and reduce variation.
• Analyze issues and implement corrective actions to drive improvements.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth.
• Coordinate with Managed Services to align resources with goals.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, systems, and best practices.
• Support merger and acquisition initiatives via integration planning.
• Build partnerships with producers and leadership to drive initiatives.
• Promote EPIC and technology usage to improve performance.
• Use metrics and BI to assess effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Lead adoption of new processes and workflows.
• Pursue ongoing learning and leadership development.
• Demonstrate integrity, leadership, accountability, professionalism.
